Laptop supports education

All learning years use laptops to support the learning process. The Sondervick College believes in preparing students well for the future through a proper balance of digital
education and education from textbooks. The laptop is therefore not an end in itself, but a means to make education more attractive and even better.

Office 365 software

Sondervick College uses Office 365, Microsoft's cloud solution. Office 365 is made available (free of charge) to all students at our school. With Office 365 they get access to e-mail, OneDrive, Skype and SharePoint. To work with the familiar Office programs, it is possible to install the Office package for free, on five computers/Macs. This allows students to access their e-mail, calendar, contacts and documents from any device they use.

For access to the wireless network and Office 365, each student is given a personal Sondervick account. This Sondervick account equals the mail address and is entered into Magister, a software package for parents and students (absences, grades, schedule, and so on). We assume that the student will use the mail address provided by school for all school matters. A letter with the login information will be provided to students through their own educational program.

Laptop Doctor

A service desk is located in our school's central building, where the "laptop doctor" is located. This service desk is open every school day from 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and during all breaks. All students can come here for questions and help with problems with their laptops. If a problem cannot be resolved, the laptop supplier should be contacted.
