Two-year bridge class havo/vwo

Sondervick College offers a two-year havo/vwo bridging class. The bridging period is designed to see which level of education is ultimately best for you. And in a two-year bridging class you have plenty of time to get used to it. During the first school year, the regular school subjects, customized classes, the excellent program, science orientation and classical cultural education are offered.

Second grade
In the second grade you can choose the gymnasium track. There will be extra subjects in Greek and Latin. During the second grade, together with the mentor, you will make the choice for havo, atheneum or gymnasium.

Why two-year bridge class havo/vwo?

  • Better determination.
  • Early selection, delaying the choice for a year.

TTO yes or no?

We train our students to be global citizens. At the vwo you can therefore choose for 'Bilingual Education' (TTO). From the first year of secondary school, more than half of all subjects are taught in English. The subjects are also more internationally oriented.

After the first three grades, you finish TTO with an official Junior Certificate (Cambridge B2 level). Starting in fourth grade, you work toward earning the highly sought-after and prized Cambridge Certificates. All these certificates are internationally recognized. In combination with your havo or vwo diploma, they give you access to various English-speaking colleges and universities worldwide.
