More than good education is based on trust: trust in ourselves and in each other. From that trust we create together an optimal learning climate in which safety is central. We have confidence in the students and their talents and as a team we use our knowledge and skills for this purpose. We have confidence in the parents, who all have their child's best interests at heart. And we have confidence in the future. After all, more than good education requires something different tomorrow than today. That is why we embrace new developments, even when they are exciting.

More than good education is based on ambition. We show guts, dare to make mistakes to learn from and seek the limits of our own development. We are ambitious in putting together our curriculum so that our students are challenged. We are pioneering by cooperating with chain partners who, like us, dare to think and operate differently.

More than good education is based on connection. Connection as a core value means recognizing that we are part of a larger network. In this, we are both mutually dependent on each other and mutually responsible for each other. At every level: employee and student, class and education/sector, school and environment. We need each other. Together we are the Sondervick College.

More than good education is based on responsibility. We give our staff and students the greatest possible freedom from the beginning. At every level, we encourage them to organize their schoolwork themselves and take responsibility for it. We guide employees and students in doing so where necessary. We strive for everyone to take ownership of their learning and development.
