Core values

We have confidence in ourselves and in each other, in our students, in their parents and in the future. We have confidence and give confidence. Students learn new things in a safe, secure environment, where trial and error are embraced. In this way we give space to unique learning experiences and embrace new developments, even when they are exciting. From this core value we create together an optimal learning climate in which safety is central.

We show courage, dare to make mistakes and seek the limits of our own development. We are ambitious in putting together our educational program so that our students are challenged. We are pioneering by cooperating with (chain) partners who, like us, dare to think and act differently.

Connected as a core value means recognizing that we are part of a larger network. In it, we are both mutually dependent on each other and mutually responsible for each other. At every level: employee and student, class and training, school and environment. We need each other. Together we are and make the Sondervick College.

We give our staff and students a great deal of freedom from the beginning. At every level, we encourage them to organize their schoolwork themselves, to be responsible for it and to take responsibility for it. We guide employees and students in this where necessary. We strive to make everyone the owner of their own learning and development process.
