Voluntary parental contribution

With the budget we receive from the government, we pay for regular education. However, we want to offer our students more than is required by law. We offer additional activities and facilities
that enrich the learning environment of our students. For example: introductory programs, excursions to museums and outdoor learning activities in the areas of sports, arts and culture.
The school considers it important that everyone participates, because the extra activities are an added value for every student. These activities are not part of the regular curriculum.
To pay for these activities, the school asks you for a voluntary parental contribution. In addition to these activities, we organize some "bigger" activities, such as trips abroad.
These require separate registration and a separate voluntary parental contribution. This is therefore not included in the annual voluntary parental contribution.

An overview of the voluntary parental contribution can be found on the website.

The parent committee of the MR will be asked for prior approval on the use of the voluntary contribution. If parents/guardians choose not to pay the voluntary parental contribution (in full), their child will not be excluded from the activity. If the school does not receive sufficient payments, the school may have to decide to cancel the activity(s).
