Learning CPR

Did you know that between 7,000 and 8,000 people are resuscitated in the Netherlands every year? Acting quickly and correctly can save lives. That is why our students in grades 1 and 3 received CPR training during the activity week. Under the guidance of the Keep the Heartbeat Going foundation, they practiced with CPR mannequins and AEDs.
 
But it didn't stop with training for our students. We also invited staff, parents, and local residents to take part in a course. Education manager Danilo Verus: "As a school, we are at the heart of the community and we believe it is important that not only our students, but also our staff, parents, and neighbors know how to help in an emergency."

Those attending the evening course were also given a demonstration of the ambulance. We would like to thank the Keep the Heartbeat Going Foundation and the ambulance service for their contribution to these training sessions!
