Yessss!!! We won! Class MA3.THV1 entered the European Commission’s 2026 art contest and won! The jury was impressed by the students’ work. They particularly noted the creativity, the power of the message, and the technical execution. The class’s teamwork was also highly praised.
Six artworks were nominated from among all the entries. On Friday, May 8, the class traveled to The Hague, where all the nominated schools presented their artwork to the jury. The presentations were followed by the suspenseful moment when the results were announced. And then came the long-awaited announcement: Sondervick College won the contest!
The class’s artwork will be featured in the exhibition at the soon-to-open Europa Experience in The Hague. This is a new educational center where visitors can learn how the European Union works through a combination of multimedia and interactive exhibits.
