Regional Partnership for Appropriate Education

Sondervick College is affiliated with the Regional Partnership for Appropriate Secondary Education (RSV PVO). This RSV PO brings together 39 schools from practical, regular, and special secondary education.

Basic support

Every student has the right to a good education. Within this partnership, the practical schools, regular secondary schools, and special secondary schools have made agreements on how we can work together to provide appropriate education and what basic support we offer as a school.

If a student needs (temporary) additional support, extra guidance, or help from an expert, the school can call on the partnership to work with parents, school support staff, and professionals to find the most suitable place in education close to home. Examples include the Expertise Center for Giftedness or a supra-school support facility for students with autism spectrum disorder.

Parent and youth support center

The RSV PO has established a parent and youth support center, which can be found at https://www.ouderjeugdsteunpuntzob.nl. This support center informs parents and students about appropriate education and supports them in finding appropriate education, exclusively in the interests of the student. The support center also collects feedback from parents and students and informs the board of the partnership. The board then uses this information for policy development.
